The Raptor Reserve program is a limited premium service that enables the customer to bypass the pre-orders or late season wait. A limited number of slots will open every July 4th to purchase a guaranteed slot at the beginning of the following Spring shipping season. These orders will be fulfilled first every year once shipping begins. The slot purchased does not expire until it is used, so if the following shipping season doesn't work for the purchaser they retain their spot in the Raptor Reserve program until they are ready to use it. Customers who join the program will be contacted by email to finalize their intended order details.

This is our value added limited "list" and any chick purchases will be in addition to this service. Raptor Reserve customers will be the first chick orders fulfilled at the beginning of each shipping season unless otherwise scheduled for a later date. This program also allows for flexibility of payment, as chick purchase is not immediately required at time of enrollment in the Raptor Reserve Program. Payment for chick purchases will be required at least One Month prior to shipping (normally this would be February 1st for March chick shipments, but could be later if chick shipment is scheduled for a later date). In effect this means joining the Raptor Reserve Program could be a way for the customer to spread payments out for their future chick purchase, a form of in-house financing for the chick order.

Merchandise is shipped via Economy shipping for a flat rate of $10 for any number of non-chick or egg purchases shipped within the United States of America.

Chick shipping is via USPS Express shipping only, is a flat rate of $80 for orders of 8-15 chicks, and includes heat, hydration gel, food, and a 72 hour live-arrival guarantee. Chick orders of 16+ chicks ship FREE with USPS Express Shipping and all of the same amenities, including the 72 hour live-arrival guarantee. Chick orders must be held for pick-up at the Post Office.

Hatching Egg orders are shipped USPS Priority, with the shipping price included in the total for the order. In standard sized orders eggs are packed in a foam holder, double boxed, with buffering between the inner and outer box, including foil wrap on inner box to offer some added protection from X-Rays. Boxes are labeled on all sides to encourage safer handling by the Post Office. Egg Orders default to being held at the Post Office unless specifically requested otherwise. This ensures the eggs retain greater viability for incubation. USPS Priority shipping can be upgraded to USPS Express shipping for an added fee.
